Who are we?
Good question, Breadstone is a collection of people ranging from 19 to the mid-’50s. We operate from the viewpoint that Jesus is God and he has a plan for His people and the nations as connected to Jeremiah 19:11-12 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”
To play out our role in this process, Breadstone is looking to encourage the God-given gifting of today’s younger Christian content creators while pointing to a conservative, Jesus-centered life. Too many Christian colleges and universities wave an American flag while they compromise the faith of their students, thereby resulting in the raising up of a toxic liberal generation.
Breadstone is neither a college nor a “church,” but a community, a voice of like-minded people seeking to encourage each other’s God-given gifting.
As the founder of Breadstone, I have personally watched the quality of Christian students deteriorate for several years at a University in the east. Every year many Students (19-24) would enter, passionate for Jesus. But they would often leave caring about the burden of addictions, pregnancy, and disillusion. Leaving them ripe for the devil to harvest into his army of social justice warriors, same-sex marriages, or worse yet, hating anything to do with Jesus and our Nation.
Breadstone Publishing is a new ministry-minded Christian company. We are not 501c3 and as a result, we are not hobbled with the same restrictions as conventional ministries are. We are centered around identifying and raising up younger content creators in a Holy Spirit-led Community. So that a new generation can lead the next.
Located along the beautiful Pend Oreille River in North Idaho, our intent is to give back to the Body so that the Body grows like a garden in the middle of this wasteland we all call home.
